Criada em 2013 pelo Minist\u00e9rio da Educa\u00e7\u00e3o e pelo Minist\u00e9rio da Ci\u00eancia, Tecnologia e Inova\u00e7\u00e3o, a Empresa Brasileira de Pesquisa e Inova\u00e7\u00e3o Industrial (EMBRAPII) tem como objetivo credenciar unidades de pesquisa que desenvolvem projetos relacionados \u00e0 Pesquisa, Desenvolvimento e Inova\u00e7\u00e3o (PD&amp;I) em parceria com a ind\u00fastria.<\/p><p>Um fator importante no modelo de atua\u00e7\u00e3o da EMBRAPII \u00e9 garantir a compet\u00eancia tecnol\u00f3gica de suas unidades credenciadas, que s\u00e3o rigorosamente avaliadas antes de receber o credenciamento. A institui\u00e7\u00e3o deve contar com excelente infraestrutura e equipe altamente qualificada em sua \u00e1rea de especialidade para ser aprovada. Desta forma, a associa\u00e7\u00e3o do IDOR \u00e0 EMBRAPII confirma as compet\u00eancias tecnol\u00f3gicas e cient\u00edficas do Instituto, al\u00e9m de abrir ainda mais portas para parcerias de inova\u00e7\u00e3o aberta.<\/p><p>Tendo como foco projetos de inova\u00e7\u00e3o na \u00e1rea de Biotecnologia, o IDOR atuou como coautor no desenvolvimento de projetos de PD&amp;I com empresas, em c\u00e9lulas-tronco de pluripot\u00eancia induzida (iPSCs) humanas, que podem ser diferenciadas em c\u00e9lulas de diversos tecidos do corpo humano e utilizadas para a varredura de f\u00e1rmacos e biof\u00e1rmacos e em ensaios de toxicidade, visando a redu\u00e7\u00e3o, refinamento e substitui\u00e7\u00e3o do uso de animais de ensaios pr\u00e9-cl\u00ednicos.<\/p>        <\/div>\n
